New animated Tarzan movie.. IN 3D!

Another Tarzan movie is coming... this time not by Disney, but with the creators of the Resident evil movies.. according to Variety.

Sounds interesting, but I hope WB can still get their live action movie off the ground. Last I heard, Sommers was still attached and said the latest script was looking really good. Would love to see a Sommers-helmed Tarzan after G.I. Joe 2.

I was hoping they were converting Disney's Tarzan into 3-D. That would be interesting to see. Oh, well, maybe this will be good.

Since I greatly enjoyed Disney's Tarzan, I'm going to look forward to this new Tarzan movie.

However, I'll probably check it out, whenever it's released on DVD. I won't see the movie in 3D, since it would be hard to wear 3D glasses over my regular glasses.

Post-processing 3D always sucks. Although I don't know if it's different with animation.

The Toy Story movies looked pretty good in 3-D, and reportedly, the 3-D in Beauty and the Beast (showed at ShoWest) was excellent. I am just thinking of the coolness of the vine surfing and how great it would be in 3-D.
