New American Pie Movie

I heard rumours on a few sites a few weeks ago that they were supposed to be making a 4th american pie movie for next year which follows band camp and stiflers younger brother i think are the rumours true?
 
Yeah here is the storyline for it that I found on Moviehole:

All the original characters have moved on, except there will be a cameo by Finch. Stifler's little brother Matt, wants to join his brother's business (Stifler has hit it big producing Girls Gone Wild videos) and after everything Matt has heard from Jim's bandgeek wife Michelle, he plans to go back to band camp and make a video of his own.... Bandies Gone Wild.

It is called American Pie 4 : Band Camp and looks like it will a straight to DVD release!
 
I enjoyed the third one and some parts I found funnier than the second one. The best bit about the third film has to be Stiflers dance off in the gay club!
 
It was rumoured for a straight to DVD release but I have just read that after it finished filming the film was so good that Universal are considering releasing it in the cinema. I dont know how much of that to believe!
 
Hmm dosent sound very appealing to me,the characters in the 3 films make the movies for me and i didnt like stifflers brother as a character either.
 
The first two films worked well because they had several layers. They weren't just gross sex films they were also grounded in character and emotion. The third film was alright in some respects but frustratingly opted to focus too much on Stiffler who was far and away the least likable character in the trilogy. By the looks of this idea it seems to have completely abandoned all that. To be honest it makes me question my memory of the first two.
