new alternator and new battery for my honda but the battery is draining...

...everyday. what could be wrong? I had the 91 honda that got stolen. I replaced the alternator and the battery and i drove the car for about 4 hours and the i just died out and i had to get 5 jumps just to get it off the freeway...what could be the problem . i'm at the point were i just want to drive it in the river, is there anyone who can tell me what's going on with this car
