New Aerize Wifix (POST HERE IF IT ISNT WORKING)

You were right, I managed to get the internet working, and aerize was not involved in the solution.

However, never got Aerize WiFix to connect OperaMini 4.2 , nor the gmail app. Still looking for a solution for those.
 
im on metro pcs i have tried all the settings that everyone uploaded nothing works, google maps dont work etc.... pls help and if anyone got the facebook app to work that would be awesome...thnx

and the new "Request format" mentioned on the first page of posts in this thread, I now have access to Opera Mini 4.2

Now, I am trying to get the following apps working (with no success so far :befuddled ):
Logicmail
gmail app
garmin mobile

As a side note, I am not able to use the internal GPS at all on my 8330m, but a bluetooth gps adapter works well with bb maps, gmaps app, etc.
 
For LogicMail use as hostnames and make sure they are actually saved.

Also make sure your logicmail app is setup correctly by following the instructions found at the link below. For IMAP account enter for server imap.gmail.com. For POP account server enter pop.gmail.com. For username and password enter your GMail username and password. Outgoing server for both types of account is smtp.gmail.com. Authentication should be PLAIN. Make sure SSL is checked and MDS is not checked on both incoming and outgoing servers. Account name can be whatever you like(Mail Account, Incoming, Outgoing,etc.)

Also on the Gmail site edit your account settings so that both POP and IMAP are enabled. When you login to Logicmail, re-type your password even if it is already entered for you. Also double-check your WiFix connection string including punctuation.

Nice!! will this mess up the settings on everything else i got working (gmaps,opera,yelp,weathereye.), or is there a way to just upload this one file? thankx Rob!
 
These books work just as well for me. I have 3 or 4 sets of books. I just use Cricketmail.ipd and everything works without messing up anything else. That's my experience. However just do a quick backup before you load the new ones, just in case.

BTW, both Shangmail and Logicmail will work just fine pushing your mail to your phone without Cricketmail.ipd but if you want to send from your phone you need Anworm's e-mail service book which is included in Cricketmail.ipd.
 
Got it!..but i only have 2 SBs out of 11..? i just got a mail from aerize, the message icon with the little world at the bottom..havent seen b4 so i guess its working...thank you all!
 
If you only got 2 of the 11 books you didn't load them right. You must re-load them. With ur phone connected to Desktop navigate to Options>Advanced Options>Service Book. Hold down the ALT key while entering S B E B. You will get a message about Legacy Restore being enabled. Press OK. Now transfer the new books to your phone.
