Sorry for taking so long to respond but yes I'm able to view sites on my phone.

And no I havent imported your settings but I'll do that right now and see what happens.

Does anyone who is using Crochit(Cricket, Cockroach, whatever) have Shangmail or Funambol working at this moment. I think those creeps at Cricket may be actively blocking push-mail servers. I had Shangmail working but all of a sudden it stopped and hasn't worked since. Funambol also won't work due to network problems. I get a 503 error whenever I try to access either site on my browser...unless I drop the www from the URL. I don't know exactly what this means but I suspect it is part of the reason why I can"t connect. So if anyone has their Shangmail or Funambol working with WIFix let me know please.

Shangmail configured with gmail is working 100% for me I dont know what funambol is but if it stil lisnt working for you id be glad to test it out, many of these programs have a list of servers they use and you have to input them all to make sure it contiues working IM+ comes to mind

OK good. Now where do I find this list of servers for Shangmail. I already have

shangmail.com
shangmail.com:80
en.shangmail.com:444

other than these I don't have. BTW Funambol is another push mail application that is available at my.funambol.com. Choose the option to sync your phone. Further down down on the page there is a link to "download sync app and try my funambol portal". This will take you through the steps to get the app(blackberrys supported) and push your email.

One more thing, you'll have to register before you can go to the page with the app link. It's a 90 day trial. After that I don't know the cost but if it I can get it to work I'll be happy to leave Shangmail behind. This software is from the "open source" community. You can also download the "sync cloud" software(also free) which will allow you to run your own push-mail server from your PC if you don't mind leaving it running all day. Don't think they can charge for that. I would do that as a solution but my PC connection is a tethered one so I can't take my phone with me and still have my PC on the internet

I have mine setup like this

www.shangmail.com
www.shangmail.com:80
en.shangmail.com:444
en.shangmail.com

hey sprockets, would you happen to know the hostnames for weatherbug or if the app is usable? to cut down on time, do you have a guide about how to discover the hostnames or a link describing how to obtain them?

Mine also was setup like that at one time and it didn't help but what I did was to remove the www from the urls and immediately it went through. I use the English version because I didn't think it was the version that was causing the problem. Thanks for the feedback.
