Does anyone know, If i sign up for Bell can i get more than reciever at the new customer price? I need about 3 of them if i make the switch.

How about the rebates on programming. What if I only want the Digital Basic with $1 extra for the West Coast HD feed for ABC/CBS/FOX/NBC?

If I remember, my mom had to take a bigger package to be able to get the discount.

Rogers just gave me 20% off my bundle but it's still more expensive than Bell.

All we want is the HD of the big 4 U.S. networks and their timeshifting equivalents. That's pretty much it. So I think we could get away with $39/month. Heck, compared to the $90 I was paying before, I might throw in the Movie package at $20/month.

Taking or not taking the extra feed is no longer an opton...ALL new suscriber have the extra feed ncluded in their Digital Standard, and, as you could imagine, they raised the cost of the Digital Standard by 1$

To be able to get the discount I think you have to suscribe to a certain amount of programming, read the fine prints to find out how much exactly

Interesting. I am a new client and I asked this question to the CSR and was told only the first receiver can be had at the discount price. Additional receivers are full price.

I signed up with Bell this morning through online process. I ordered 1 HDPVR and 2 Standard receivers. Later in the day I received a confirmation # of my order, then a few hrs later another email stating order was on hold because I ordered too many receivers??? The email said I ordered 5 but they could only do online orders with a maximum 4 receivers. Apparently the HDPVR counts as 2? But even with that logic my order should have still gone through as a 4 receiver order shouldn't it (HDPVR = 2 + 2 standard receivers).
Really weird, oh well I guess I'll have to call in the order instead of trying the online way.
Anyone else have this problem?

Yet another example of Bell's confusion over Tuners Vs Receivers.

As a new Customer who is getting a "Free" installation the limit is 4 Tuners. After that you pay for the extra ones and a second "OMX or OMC#" will be created. (This is the Bell order #).

Your order, is for 4 Tuners, so it should have been fine.

I'm a new customer and I was charged $50 dollars for them running a second line to the receiver in my bedroom. Was told only the first receiver is installed at no charge. Perhaps I should call back and complain and get refunded seeing as though many are saying I should get up to 4 free.
