Can't say I was a huge fan of the tv show, but I do remember it reasonably well. It was ridiculous and over the top, and certainly did not take itself too seriously.

And I kind of get the same impression of the movie version from this trailer...I mean to say it looks silly or stupid or dumb etc kind of misses the point, so was the original.

Of course, whether it is actually any good is yet to be seen.
 
That high definition trailer looks very sharp. The only criticism of it is that, to me, B.A isn't anywhere near as muscly as the original was. He just looks mostly flab with a tight top on. You could see the original's muscles underneath years ago. There's always some flaw in these remakes.
 
I don't know like George Peppard before him Liam Neeson is rubbish at accents so when it comes to the obligatory rubbish Hannibal disguises he's perfect casting. ;)

but i aint so sure of this. they have used the same basic imagey of those characters from the original. Liam Nelson dolled up to look like George Peppard - even down to the cigar smoking (which is my belief was a George Peppard trademark rather then a Hannibal thing). then the guy playing BA - is dolled up to look like Mr T - mullet and moustache - rather then bringing something original to it.

was always kind of hoping for a original reunion minus GP.
