new 8100 upgrade from t-mobile?

Our OS right now doesn't have daylight savings on it. They upgraded the OS 4.2.107 so our phones have a daylight savings capability. In a way this is a upgrade, but not what we want exactly.
 
from what i understand that it is not the new OS. The new OS will not be out til about april/may from what I hear with T-mobile. I'm trying to get this confirmed and I may have more answers after next sunday (march 9th) I'll keep you posted. I've heard abou the text messages being sent out. However, t-mobile has not said anything to their sales reps about this new update. I personally feel this is to fix the timing on multi tap, which when the .107 sofwtare was released seem to cause that problem and the only solution was learn to use suretype, which didn't fly well with lots of customers.
 
I finally got one yesterday from 7077. I have already upgraded to the OS being talked about. Just thought I would add to the thread. I know the new OS is not out until April/May.
 
I got a text message and of course my pearl was auto deleting my messages that day, but i got it at least over a week ago, and i keep going to tmobile.com/bbupgrade and there is no upgrade ............ anyone know anything about this? and why we got a text? and I did call tmobile and they don't know anything about a text message.
 
If you read the whole post, you'd see that there is no new version. That msg is to make sure you have the most recent so your BB will update properly with the new DST settings.
