They were sold out of them but I did some research and it seems to be the R211... Basic phone, but good price if you need a basic phone.

I don't think that phone is too new but there are plenty of those Samsung R211 at the Cricket store in Houston for $29.99.

Do you know if you are on the $1/day plan and someone senRAB you a text, what happens? Does it get delivered? Does it charge you?

It only charges you for the things that's within your control. If you don't call or send a text than you won't be charged. Now when someone senRAB you a sms or mms you won't be charged to view it. But if you reply than yes you will be charged. You won't be charged for a voice call if you don't answer and let it go to your voice mail. You can listen to it by using your land phone for free of charge.

I did check the site but it didnt say anything specific (or I didnt see) about the $1/day plan which does not include texts. So it will allow texts to come in but charge additional funRAB going out... good.
