I am purchasing a ten gallon tank in a few weeks - I have mastered my 5 gallon and it's time to size up. I had a ten gallon once - but somehow when we moved it was lost. I plan on having a freshwater tank - with lighting, and a heater if it's needed depending on the fish.
I currently have an African Dwarf Frog who I am also going to house in the tank with the fish. I currently have several mickey mouse platy fry which I will also add to the tank.
I was thinking of danios and guppies along with my platies, or am I over-doing it?
Would 5 male fancy guppies, and 5 of the (glofish) zebra danios along with my ADF and a few livebearers be too much? Possibly. Though, they keep all of the fish who are 6+ inches long in 10 gallon tanks at petco and petsmart, with as many as 6 in the same tank and most spend their whole lives in there.
Anyways, what do you reccomend for a 10gal freshwater that can be housed with an ADF?
