I just got to see this, it's a brilliant documentry and a must have for any nightmare fan. There's so many interesting things in this documentary that it's not worth discussing most of it but a couple highlights are the cast and crew of Freddy

What I took from watching it was just how cheaply they tried getting each movie made. Bob Shaye even tried going on the cheap and replacing Robert Englund for number 2, untill he realised the new guy was terrible and they needed Rob. Patricia Arquette's no show in part 4 was down to money it seems as well and from what I took from the documentry it wasn't even like they where asking for much.

Dream child is poor but I have to say seeing how rushed it was I'm surprised it turned out even as good as it was.

Also Brad Pitt and Christian Slater auditioned for the the role of Jessie in Freddys revenge
