never in the mood to have sex unless im not taking birth control?

its not that the sex is bad cuz its great, but im never in the mood and i feel bad. well go weeks, even months without doing it and when im not taking my birth control, its like i have to have it!! i cant get my self to just do it to relieve him and it didnt used to be like that. any help??
