neutrogena oil free acne wash causes dry, flaky, irritated skin?!?

i just started using the neutrogena oil free acne wash three days ago, twice a day (morning/night) and now my skin looks even worse. i decided to try this because just recently i got a very bad breakout and i usually use clean and clear but i had heard that neutrogena was stronger so i tried it. my skin is now really dry, very flaky, red and irritated around my mouth and nose. and it burns too!
but i have tried proactive. and i didn't find it a good acne product. it did clear up the little bumps on my skin but not the big ones and it didn't prevent them:/
but i do moisturize. right now i actually put a clean and clear moisturizer and then some vitamin e.
 
You should use clean and clear oil free countinuous control acne wash with salicylic acid acne medication which helps treats and prevent breakouts ..I use it twice a day and I love it and I'm a girl who had a lot of acne so if your like me I would try it ..it comes in the purple container and also comes out like foam. I had used proactiv be for too and didn't work for me it made my skin irrtated and worse then what I started with well hopefully I helped with your question...o sometimes when I put that clean and clear on at night and go to sleep when its on wake up and there's no bumps on my face or some times their are a lil bit of bumps then I raise my face with water...if you have oily skin you should wash your face with warm water .dry skin wash with cold.
