Had the same thing on neutral light and the key light my Dyna, A wire was pinched under the tank and had shorted out, hope your is a easy fix.

That is the only real issue I have had with my bike. Damn neutral switch has been a PITA. On the third one, and even that one will act stupid if any water gets near it.

Had been out in a bad rain storm doing some highway riding. All was fine till the next time out. I had the same issue, N light and the key light. I rode a day in warm weather it that issue then it went away. I had removed the wiring from the neutral switch and placed some dielectric grease on it in hopes that would prevent it from happening again.

I had called the dealer as i was going to bring it in and was told the switch is sometimes bad which causes that. Warrenty if so however the light went out during the following ride with warm weather so i have just chocked it up as water causing the switch to arc out.

I got on the bike to ride to the dealer and the problem was gone. The dealer didn't want to look at it without the light being on. So I continued home and no problems. Water may have been what caused my "N" light to come as well. I washed the bike the other day and it was late so I didn't do a drying run, just the blower and hand dry. Then she set until that morning.

Well... thanks for the input.

Ride-on and be safe.
