Network Browsing....

When I'm connected wifi, is there a way to browse network storage or other shared drives on said network??

Been playin around with settings etc, I'm assuming if its possible, its either not available or I haven't found the way to do it

Any feedback would be lovely

That sounds possible, but I would think you would need something like bratags droidftp client? I'd think it has to be possible. I guess your computer would have to be set up for networking, and then direct the phone to the computers address?

I would sure like to know the answer to this question. I've been browsing files on my Desktop PC for years using Windows Mobile (via WiFi), and I'd hate to give that up. It would also have to support network login.

Once I find a file, can I stream video from my PC to a Droid?
Again, I've been doing that for years on WinMo, and I've always assumed all these new phones can do that.

phonemypc, gmote, or telnet, depending on what you're doing? connectbot, but i'm not sure if windows handles ssh.

assuming that you want to do Windoze file sharing (different strokes I guess) then you want to look for Android/Samba, google that and plenty pop up. I think aFile is one but I don't use it so can't say but that is the kind of app you want.
Samba is the long standing way to get to Winders from *nix. Can also replace a Win server.
The other way is a USB cable and from the connected PC you can drag 'n droppy from elsewhere on the network.
