I started using a Neti Pot about a year ago. I was not particularly careful and tended to add way too much salt (without baking soda). Now my sinuses (especially the left side) are so dry that it can be irritating to breathe (burning feeling). I can even feel the nerve radiate to my front teeth when it is especially dry. A CT scan of my sinuses showed no serious problems, and my ENT does not have any advice.
What techniques can I use to moisten my sinuses? I have been drinking a lot of water and using a vaporizer when I can. Should I keep using the Neti (assuming I properly measure the salt and baking soda)? Thanks!
