Nesoid NES Emulator for Android phone: Won't seem to load my ROMs?

Ok, I've got Nesoid loaded on my phone. I've got a few .nes ROMs sitting on the root of my SD card in the phone. When I open Nesoid it tells me there are no ROMs loaded. When I locate the ROM and select it, it doesn't load. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to put the ROMs in a special place on my SD card? is Nesoid looking for the ROMs in a certain folder in a certain location with a certain name?
