Nervous about dance classes?

So I've wanted to take hip hop dance lessons since forever. I've put it off for a couple years beacuse I was scared. I'm making it one of my new years resolutions next year and I'm determined to complete it . But I still can't shake the feeling of what's been keeping me away for so long. I'm the kind if person whose afraid of embarressing herself and gets intimidated easily. What if those girls have been dancing longer than me and are older? So you see my dilemma? I would creep to the back but, ya know there's mirriors.
