Neighbours doing building work are driving me crazy!!?

They decided to build an extension on the other side of the house so as are houses are together we can hear everything they do, 8 o clock in the morning all you can hear is bang bang bang and then they start drilling!

I dont sleep well as it is, they might aswell be drilling our house its so loud their doing it now so iv had to turn the TV up loud.

Ive had 2 weeks of easter holiday and every morning iv been woken up by them. They havnt even asked us if its ok to work at that time! Anyone else got the same problem??
 
8 am to 4.30pm are normal working hours,You will just have to put up with it,Will not last forever.
 
i guess the work has to be done.there is a law against what times they can start to work i think eight oclock is a resonable hour .be lucky they don't start at 6 oclock.
