Neighbours are complaining over nothing?

There's a Pakistanian couple living underneath our our apartment. And they keep coming to the office and complaining, the office sent us two notes and said that if they get to send the third one, they will have to take legal actions. Now: all their complains are being overdramatized and some are just not true. They sre saying we drag furniture around in the early am - never has happened. They are saying that we are running water constantly at night and it is too loud. COMEON!!! Yes, we do take showers at night, becuse we both work night shifts. Since when it has become illegal to shower? Also, they say that we are walking loudly and while we do walk, we are not making loud sounds, just normal walking. This makes me so mad that we could be evicted from this nice apartment complex because of some stupid unreasonable complains. is there anything I could do?
 
I don't know what legal action they could take against you for taking a shower. If the water is too loud, that should be a management problem. See if your state or town has a tenants organization. Do a google search for "(state) tenants rights".
 
Write down exactly that and send the letter to the owner. Talk to the couple calmly and ask them what you could do that would make them happier and not angry. If that doesn't work, you could always get a lawyer. Good luck.
