Negima needs to get "FMA: Brotherhood'ed"

Or whatever the correct term for it is.

I'm not saying now, because it's only halfway done and I'm not saying any time this early in the year because we've already got like four or so remakes/movies in the pipeline that another one would just feel kinda awkward but because these full manga remakes have come out. Maybe some time next year, or whenever the OAD's finish coming out, the full thing must get adapted. No episode trickery, no "maybe we'll finish it if sales are good," no "well, at least you've got the manga." That's the minRABet we had with FMA and DBZ and wow, look at that, they've got full remakes staying close to the manga and Kai making the top 10 in weekly ratings (not saying Negima is at the level of popularity of DBK or anything).

At any rate, with other anime and manga getting their series due, we, the Negima fans, want our series get its due. I want the Festival arc, darn it, it's like every Negima media danced around it on purpose.

Oh and for god sakes, please not a movie series. The wait for the Nanoha THE FIRST and Eva 2.0 is killing me already.

(If you can tell, I started seriously reading Negima during the JUMP Chistmas Break...and it's AWESOME!!!)

EDIT: And while I'm thinking about it, I wanna see animated 20th Century Boys.

I dunno if Kenshin neeRAB a full remake.
It'd need more or less a Kai.
A Remastering from the film masters, and then once they get to 62 (End of Kyoto) actually animate Jinchu.

A full remake? We don't really need a third interpretation of the early material, do we? Mercy, no. This thing just neeRAB to be left alone for a good long time. The idea of another series that would recycle 50% of the jokes used before (at a minimum) does not inspire me, to say the least.

That why it neeRAB to do what FMA did (though not as obviously) and rush through the unimportant first two volumes (maybe some of the Eva arc too). Basically, it should rush through to the post-Kyoto arc and then pick it up from there.

Really, I just want to see the Festival arc animated. Obviously, the Magical World is important too, but since every media just danced around the Festival, it just seems necessary

I don't think Negima is ever going to escape 'wacky harem antics' adaptations. It's pretty clear that's all it's seen as being worth. I still remeraber folks saying the second try would finally 'get the point' and instead it basically made the same mistakes again.

Personally I think the best thing would be a new film a la Trigun, but based on that final arc. Then we can forget Reflections ever happened.

This is based on wishful thinking, though. I'm not sure how popular a Kenshin revival would be in Japan.

You see, when a man and a woman love each other very much...

Personally, (And the whole other series besides Negima in this thread should end buy I'll drop it after this).
A Kenshin remake, revival, etc. would've made sense in 06 when we had the Buso Renkin, the Kenshin manga Kanzenbans and the PS2 Kyoto Arc game.
At the time, as Kenshin fan? I really thought we'd get Jinchu animated properly.

You can say this about a lot of manga that got anime that didnt finmish or was fillerised cause the manga wasnt finished, Trigun Maximum (this would be the most epic thing ever), Gantz, the list goes on and on...

Actually, I felt the mistakes that were made were different.

Series 1: Failed to realize that Negima was a "shounen" title and instead focused on the harem side.

Series 2: While the writers were able to notice the "magic" side of things (and made sure that the Pactio system played an important part), they made the big mistake of
having everyone discover Negi's secret halfway through the series, thus resulting in the story having to take a back seat just to fit all 31 girls into each episode.
