Negative Pregnancy Test?

For the past few months I have been keeping track of my periods on my monthlycycles.com and so far its been completely accurate at predicting my periods. All last week I've felt nauseous and i've had way more discharge than normal. Today I am supposed to start my period. I haven't yet so I took a pregnancy test. It was negative. I am wondering if maybe I should wait for morning urine? Is it better to pee on a stick or in the cup? If I don't do the morning urine how long should I "hold it" before I do the test? I am dying to know. I got the first response early response pregnancy tests.
Did you do the Answers brand the same day as early response? or did you wait a few days?
 
I recently found out im pregnant and i used the early response and got a negative and then i tried ANSWER and got a positive. Try using that one if you can and use the cup to pee in it works better and you dont have to hold it just test with the first morning urine. the answer test is more sensitive so you have a better chance at getting a positive if you are prego. good luck hope this helps.
