I know this question might seem silly, but I am looking for possibly an older Verizon phone I can use with PagePlus. I was thinking something like a MOTO Q9m or Samsung i770 well, something in that price range. PPC has a talk/text/data plan for $29.95 and that's what I want to put it on. I like the larger screens, QWERTY keyboard, EVDO and of course the smartphone browser for web. Things that are nice but not needed are touch screen and WiFi. I need to be able to easily text and get email from this device. If I can just use a free online account Hotmail, Yahoo, etc. that's perfectly fine.
Most dumb phones have too small of a screen for me to read email on and sending email/text without a QWERTY keyboard is a pain. I really don't think I need one of the latest -- I'd just use a Treo 650 but not sure if that's a good idea. The phone needs to be CDMA, but Verizon is preferred. I'd rather not have to get the phone flashed.
Please let me know if any of you have any ideas.
