Hello,
I'm currently living in China and am looking to get a new phone by the months end probably, but I'm willing to wait longer though. Also being in China yields access to phones that may not be released in the states, so keep that in mind. Here are my needs:
First off I want to be able to use my phone back in the states with my T-mobile subscription - therefor it needs to be GSM which means Tri/Quad Band I persume.
Secondly, I need to be able to setup multiple alarms. I don't have good luck with alarm clocks and have found that my cell phone has been able to wake me up, but I need to select multiple ones. My current Motorolla E398 will let me setup 5 alarms.
Thirdly, I would like it to have the following features: a camera (2+ MP would be nice), bluetooth, a beautiful screen, have great voice clarity, and be very reliable.
I'm open to the type of phone it is (bar, flip, slider, etc.) however, I've only owned bar phones in the past. Why? Because I believe less moving parts means less to go wrong and break! Opening and closing a flip phone will eventually cause the mechanism to break, therefor rendering the phone damaged. Again, I'm open to anything.
Being in China (and back home), the phone will mainly be used for SMS'ing as it's all the rage here (and cheaper!). Back home, I tended to use txt messaging a lot too, but would have sometimes lengthy voice chats too.
Finally, I would like it to be somewhat stylish, and not "trendy". I'm not into owning a phone to be apart of a status quo, and would rather take function over style, however I don't want to be carrying around a brick either. I normally carry my phone in my front jeans pocket, so I would like it to fit there comfortably.
Thanks for the help, I tried to be as specific as possible, but still allow room for suggestions, so because of that the length of the post increased. Thank you for taking the time to read it if you've gotten this far

Edit: Forgot to mention that one really annoying thing about my current Motorola E398 is that the camera lens does not have a cover. Sometimes I'll take a picture only to find it didn't come out as well as usual (the camera isn't that great on that phone to begin with) only to find out that the lens has pocket debree in the indention and then I have to clean it out and retake the photo (if possible). Also the time it takes for the phone to take the photo is also quite annoying.
EDGE would be nice on the new phone, but not a deal breaker.
