My wife and I currently have T610s. It is probably past time to upgrade but I am so cheap that I have been putting off a new purchase.
I really want a Nokia 6230i, at a minimum I would need a bluetooth phone capable of being used as a modem and having a built in browser. But my wife has no need of any functionality beyond calling and text messaging. My biggest concern is that whatever phones we end up with they work well together, that is, it is easy to SMS phonebook entries between the two phones and they share accessories (primarily chargers).
I was hoping to use T-Mobile's upgrade to get a free phone for my wife. Online I have a choice between the 6010 or the 3220 with a 2 year upgrade. In the T-Mobile store I could chose the 6010 for 1 year + $20 or the 3220 for 2 years + $35. In the mall the kiosks had no Nokia inventory and said they were pulling those models. One kiosk told me to go to the T-Mobile store to get a better deal on my upgrade.
Is there a reason I can't find a set of phones I like at T-Mobile?
Is there an online site that can do upgrades and can work me a deal on the phones I want?
Suggestions for an alternate set of phones?
Thanks.
