I need a truck SUV that can pull a 20+ foot camper. Vehicle needs to fit a family of 4 and 2 dogs. Looking at extended cab trucks, ford bronco/blazer. Would a explorer, smaller blazer be able to haul a 20+ camper around or do i need a larger vehicle. Probably spend around $4-5,000. I see a lot of explorers and blazers around for cheap, but dont know if they could handle a camper.

you need a 2500 or 3500 you can get a 1995+chevy 3500 ext diesel dually for 4000-6500 that will work the little truck might do it but wont last long and eat you up in gas and transmissions the diesel will get better mpg

A 20 foot camper trailer can weigh 6000 lbs or more. By the time you load it up with gear and put Mom and the kids and the dogs in the truck, You're going to need a full size 3/4 ton crew-cab pickup, or a full size SUV like a Chevy Suburban. Anything smaller would be unsafe.

Good news is that there are plenty of clean used Suburbans out there and they're not all that expensive. Bad news... You're going to hate the fuel mileage!
