need to know if i can join the army with an expunged record?

Hi i am 18 yrs old and have a record of enterin auto( going into cars and taking items) but im doing this program that includes community service and 6 months of sorta probation.if i get this done my record will be expunged. but the army still can see it. can i still join after the 6 months is over? and i have learned my lesson. thanks
