...brought forward and split from mingled? Ok, I want to take what we had going in (premarital) and subtract those numbers from what the present value is of all these accounts, then split them 50:50 (Florida). Soon-to-be-ex wants to figure and subtract out their present values from mingled and actively managed accounts, which I think is nearly impossible for a 12 year history; much less legal. Thanks
 
Your verbiage makes absolutely no sense. Judging by other answers apparently you're talking about assets. If you've been married 12 years, it's all community property, so you're right. It's impossible to separate. What the judge will do is divide them now, forget all that other stuff. Exception: if either of you had meaningful assets before marriage, like a house or investments.
