need to have food for camp....?

me & like 5 of my closest friends are going to a cheer camp & i get to room with my best friend but anyway- our coach wants us to try to pack our own food for camp even though they have a diner place there
what food should we pack when we will be out in the heat for about 12 hours for 3 days..?
