American made minivans? Don't want to overspend. Are American made minivans really totally junk or can you be very happy with them? Had a venture and very unhappy with the constant electrical problems.
i would go with the imports, either one is fine Honda's are very reliable and if you ever need to sell it honda has the highest resale value, but then again toyota's are supposed to last forever, both get good gas millage and both companies are great, but if you have ever listened to car talk on NPR they always recommend the honda's.
Dodge Grand Caravan, we have one and it is a nice ride and good on gas but at the same time does not lack power. ours is an 07' but I like the look of the 08's better.
American doesn't have any good minivans. The Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country are just okay, but not great. The other American Vans are junk. The Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna are both much, MUCH better vans.
If you want American, look at a Ford Flex. The Flex is actually pretty good vehicle. It isn't a van, but it is the best American Family mover you can buy.
