I am Living in delhi and wish to buy a used car in a few months. My budget is limited to 1.2 lakhs
As this would be my first car so i dont have any idea about the performance.
My only concern is my height which is 6'3". I had learned driving in an maruti 800 which i found quiet discomfortable becasue of the rigidness of its seat. It was an instructors car and i was barely able to sit in it. The seat was unadjustable.
Is this the problem with every M800 that a tall persons thighs and legs always remain cramped up?
Now i need a car for commuting in city. Nobody sitting at the rear seat(so even if i have to drive sitting there). Around 30-40 km per day. No or minimum long drives. I am also expecting a decent fuel economy. Had done research on a few cars but never drove any of them except a cramped old 800.
My interest are:
M 800: As its cheap so I can go for a CNG/LPG fitting. But problem is will i be able to fit in it. The experience with the instructors car was not good.
Zen: pre 2000 models are available under a lakh. AC. But again no idea about height and comfort
Santro: Good height but relatively on higher side in price
Palio: 2002 model available under 1.1 lakh but poor fuel economy and high cost of spare parts and maintenence
I am also looking to sell the car in 2-2.5 years of time.
Which would be the best car to buy. Under my budget.
