Need to be seen better

Yeah, I had an old lady pull out in front of me about 20 years ago and totaled my bike. I was doing around 40 when she pulled out and blocked the road. She said I did not see you.(middle of the day)
The wife and I were coming home the other night on a 35mph road and had a cager about 5 ft off my ass. I tapped the brake lightly a time or two but he would not back off. I finally pulled over and let him by. I wish he would have stopped, I would have torn his head off. I was pissed but did not show it.

Nothin for nothin here but I don't think it has to do with the color of your bike. People in general are just freakin stupid and in a hurry. I ride 13 miles home from work each day and I bet less then 10% stop for stop signs...that means 90% blow thru them and I'm usually in their sights when they do. This is just one example....we could go into the cell phone/texting issues also. I don't care what colors you plan on putting on...if they don't care enough about your life.....your dead anyway. Just my .02 cents

This is what I would say as well. If they are out to get you, don't give them an excuse like "I did not see him".

I have resorted to sometimes yelling at cage drivers and waving my arm to been seen. Short of sending a bazooka blast into their car, I don't think there is any sure way to wake up the jerks while they are talking on their cell phones, doing their nails, reading a paperback, etc., etc. Sometimes they just don't give a damn, and would pull out in front of any other motor vehicle as well.

I pull over when it is safe and usually yell a few words at the driver as they pass by, sometimes hoping they come back to discuss the issue.

Add whatever you think might help, but the bottom line is that the one thing that will help you more than any light you may add is riding like everyone is out to get you. I was on a bright red SG when a guy pulled out in front of me, totaling the bike and banging me up pretty good.

Same thing about the color of the bike... Mirage Orange RG and they still pull out or turn in front of you. I'm thinking of adding Motolights or some bright LEDs for the front and Brightazz light to the back (I already have a backoff modulator).

Ride safe and have fun!

They dont see you , accept it and live with it. Once you swing a leg over your bike you are invisible. Remember this and you will have your best chance. Always vigilant.
