anybody know where I can get hardware support for port problems? I'm not able to sync or charge due to a bad port on my storm.....

Probably something is wrong with the charging port of your phone. You can replace it. There are many blackberry storm 9500 repair parts on this site. It gurranttes fast shipmment and golden quality. Hope you can fix your phone asap
