need sony vegas pro 10 help!!?

Im using sony vegas pro 10 to make some videos. when i render my videos it stops rendering like half way and doesnt say anything so i have to close it w/ task manager. if it actually does finish rendering the video is very glitchy and it ghosts and has random pink blotches. what do i do?
