first of all if you want crisp clean power-full sound forget about powering your speakers with a head unit, get a separate 4 channel amp. at least 50 watts RMS per channel. head units will say 50 or 52 watts per channel but that the peek rating, the RMS rating on a head unit is really only around 15 to 18 watts per channel. also if you have a sub you will want to get rid of as much bass as possible from the speakers because the bass from any speaker sounds like crap compared to a sub, and besides that's what the sub is for anyway. any decent set of speakers will do.

i am looking for some of the best sounding 6x9 and 6.5 speakers and what is the best headset for sound quality and power. its all going in a 00 Honda civic sedan. i have a kicker L7 sub but stock door and rear speakers. want to upgrade to a better headset to. maybe one with a tv. need suggestions. also want speakers that can handle a lot of bass or just best sound quality and i will be wiring an amp to all 4 speakers (6.5 on doors, 6x9 on rear deck). thanks for the help
i currently have the Pioneer DEH-P4800MP headset.

Go to future shop or best buy and look at the sony section...
their Xplod amps, and speakers are awsome in my two vehicles.

alsolook at a sony headset... if u can afford it, id suggest making your whole system sony. but if u cant get everything from sony, get as much as you can, at least. its definiteley worth it.

As far as 6x9 speakers go, I have heard that mtx 6x9s are actually really good. For 6.5" speakers, i would probably go with Diamond Audio. If you want really good sounding speakers, go with component speakers. For the best sound make sure u get a 4 channel amp but you will be fine with a deck. The problem with a deck is that if you turn your speakers up a lot then your speakers will start to distort.
