Need some info and feedback about Nokia E70

Friend of mine is in love with E70 and want to buy it from buy.com. He has nokia 6230 with cingular. He wants to know how is the voice/sound quality , RF, battery life, speaker phone and how stable is the software ??

I appreciate any help and info.

i just got my e70 a week ago from buy.com... everything is great about the phone. the only complaints i have about it is the numberpad is very flat and hard to press and sometimes running through apps can be pretty slower compared to my 6630

Nowadays, Buy.com ships E70 with the new firmware 2,XXXXXXX. I personally love the phone - it is stable, great voice/sound quality and battery life and do not forget the display - it is HD compare to Nokia 6630 and 6230.
FWIW: I think that E70 is the best "sleeper phone" to come out in 2006. Good luck to your friend.

V2.XXXX is the latest right now, but we are overdue for V3.XXXX which was released for the E61 a few weeks ago.

Yes, I think the software updater is integrated with PC Suite now, if not you'll have to download it seperately.

you can, but the update is based on product code, so you still won't be able to update it until nokia releases it. you can't put the e61 f/w on the e70...i don't think you can. you can try.
