Need Some Help with Valuation

Just bought an '08 UC after 20 years of riding an 78 Electra Glide. So, I put the old bike up on Ebay. Not sure what I should expect price wise - haven't sold a bike in 20 years, so I'm asking all of you out there. Attached a couple of pics. Looks stock, but complete drive train redo including 88" stroker, dual plugged, B cam, S&S carb/cleaner, blueprinted, ported, decked, 5 speed tranny, etc., etc.. Obviously never gonna get the cash out (13K in drivetrain alone), but what is reasonable to expect for an Old School Classic like this bagger? Had the reserve at 7k. Bidding is at around 5K. Unreasonable to expect more? Anyone have an opinion?

Do you have to sell it? When I bought the 06 Ultra mt wife asked me when I was going to sell the 81 FLT. I told her I've had it longer than I've had her, it doesn't eat, and it has never $hit in the yard. Why sell it?
That bike looks like one of those "I wish I had never sold the electra" stories .......
I vote to keep it.

Beautiful Bike,wish I had the cash.Owned 2 shovel heads.My first Harley,'73 FX.I rode it for 11 yrs. 120+ kmi.When I sold it had 80" flywheels,S&S top end,carb.Branch heads,B grind cam,Andrews gears.All in a wishbone frame/glide front end,heel to toe clutch,jockey shift.Oh! the memories.Hope you can find a way to keep her.

think the Ebay item number is: 330463730246, but there are only 3 or 4 "78 Electra Glides on all of ebay - pretty easy to find. Hate to say it, but the ol" 78 has so much more character than the '08 UC - maybe I'm just "old school" myself. Of course, the UC is an amazing runner - and the wife likes it better - thats helpful when I want a new cam or something.

think those light bars were a bolt on at the dealership when it was new. couple of years ago I found a supplier who had the light sockets and lenses, so I ordered a dozen. Comes in handy when a lens cracks or the sockets get old and unground. you can sure see it coming down the road at night!
