need some help please nokia 6230 software download

hi i got a new nokia 6230 not the "i" version and im very happy with it i got a card reader and blue tooth for connectivity. now i want to try to spiff up the phone and have no idea how to. i want to download the latest firmware for the fone and download some extra software to my phone but have no clue on how to do so.. do i need a data cable for this job?
i got this program from a web page and i dont know how to install on my phone please please please help me i like this phone alot and another thing is i have a bet with a friend that i can download programs to my phone so i feel like winning and putting his face in the dirt :evil: ps here is the software i tried to put on my phone

hi,
since ur phone is having bluetooth connectivity, you dont need a data cable. But you've to buy a Bluetooth USB Adapter for the ur PC and connect the bluetooth device to the pc. it comes with a installation software. install the software, connect the bluetooth device to ur USB Port in PC, then switch on the bluetooth in ur mobile and connect with pc and transfer all the Application, Pics, tunes etc and Enjoy
