need some help how to keep exhaust from melting fairing

I just installed a full akra evo on my 1198. The mid pipe comes with a slight dent in it. I thought it was a defect, but turns out they are all like that. Not sure why. Anyway the dent causes the exhaust to almost touch my left lower fairing. I am worried about it melting it once I take it for a spin after the snow melts. Any thoughts on some kind of high temp isulation I could stick to the inside of the fairing?

also, I have a shift tech 70mm rear hugger, but my pipe does not line up with the cut out (was this designed for a termi?). SO that too comes close to touching the exhaust at one point. Not sure the temps that that carbon bit can take without melting.

And before anyone asks, the exhaust is installed correctly..lol.

Or you could try 2" automotive style exhaust wrap perhaps. I have tried that on my full carbon bellypan but the drawback is that the pipe, although it didn't touch, it was close enough to compress the wrap and ended up burning a hole after a few thousnand km anyway. Normal carbon will burn under the heat but you can get carbon in Vinyl Ester resin which has higher temp resistance.... but that's probably no use to you.

In addition to the THERMO-TEC Exhaust Insulating Wrap: 2" and THERMO-TEC Adhesive Backed Heat Barrier: 12"x24" , we installed a MW Universal Carbon Fiber Heat Shield: Small on the pipe where it came close to the body work.

We have no problems with melted paint or bodywork.
