When I add a filter to a layer for some reason whatever edits I make to this filter it also applies the same effect to other layers with a filter.
So far example: I create a simple square on one layer and apply a drop shadow to it. The I create a new layer and add a different shape to this layer and also add a drop shadow to this shape but at different depth, angel etc than the first layer. When I click 'OK' to apply this filter to the second layer for some reason the first 'square' layer has also edited.
I don't understand whats causing this because previous versions of photoshop wouldn't do this. It's like photoshop is only letting me add one type of filter and if I change it, it's applying it to all layers.
I hope I've explained this so you can understand the problem
