I want a basic phone for texting and the occasional Gmail Java App usage. I realize I'll be getting more features than I'll ever use with any Smartphone, but they wouldn't hurt (always wanted a To Do List and more robust Datebook). Thing is, Cingular doesn't offer any nice keyboard phones that they don't consider PDA/Smartphones, so I'm deciding between Nokia E62 (nice price, kinda slab-like though in size), Samsung Blackjack (love the form factor, but seems too ambitious with all it's media functions), and TREO 680 (brick of a phone, but would work just fine I imagine). The Nokia feels like everything I'd want, and S60 looks neat to me, but would any of you suggest spending a bit more for the other two for a few more advanced features? IMO, 3G is overrated and isn't a deal breaker for me.
Thanks. I apologize if these types of posts are too common, but I have my needs!!
