need Social website for my business?

I am the owner of a "big" small business with many employees in 5 different stores in a 50 km area. I was wondering if there is something like a facebook for my business where everyone who works at my business has a password, logs in, and can check a calender and see events coming up, can post memos, and help each out with problems while still being easy to use. I guess something like what facebook was before it was flooded with 10 year olds. Thanks
 
You can use facebook for that purpose, but keep your group by invitation only, so that you keep out the 10 year olds.

You can also just set up a Yahoo! Group, and use that message board for that purpose. I use Yahoo! groups for my book groups, and have used it in the past for organizing group work for classes. You get your message board, calendar, file links, and everything right at your fingertips. Very easy to use.
 
You could try Google Calendar - you can set up restricted access and share with your employees, and it's free.

Yammer might be an option for posting problems, or you could use one of the free IM clients out there.

Another option, if you like the feel of Facebook, is to create a closed Group. This would restrict the information to just your invited employees.
