My parents are on Fido (Canada) prepaid, but are using old phones that don't have Bluetooth. With the new law up there about using hands-free, they will need to install some sort of hands-free device in the car - but everything on the market now seems to be Bluetooth and they don't want to use headsets.
So what I'd like to do is find two new very cheap, basic simple phones from a USA pre-paid carrier (like ATT GoPhone, or someone else., because I'm in the USA) that have Bluetooth, and that I can unlock so they can use them on Fido in Canada. Then I can order a Bluetooth handsfree device, sync it to their phones and they will be all set.
Can anyone suggest an easily unlockable, cheap basic Bluetooth phone that will work on Fido (GSM)? One of the phones is temporary as my Mom will probably get the new iPhone 4 when it comes out later in the year.
