Need Serious help applying for financial aid...?

So I'm a senior, 18, about to attend MassArt next year. My parents don't know anything about college because they didn't go, and basically I'm doing this whole process on my own. I have no idea how to fill out these financial aid reports and I'm scared about the deadline that I missed by a few days. Please tell me what the difference is between these following sections because it all sounds the same to me:

1. wages, salaries, tips, etc
2. interest income
3. dividends
4. Other taxable income (alimony received, business and farm income, capital gains, pensions, annuities, rents, unemployment compensation, Social Security, Railroad Retirement, and all other taxable income)
5. IRS-allowable adjustments to income (payment to IRA and Keogh Plans, one half of self employment tax, self-employed health insurance deduction, interest penalty on early withdrawal of savings, alimony paid, and student loan interest deduction)

please help me out with this, I need to get this in ASAP.
2.
