Need quick help

My doctor put me on gabapentin for possible nerve pain on my chest cavity wall.....was so scared to even take it. Just took one now, but I am freaking out because some of the symptoms it can cause are: depressed mood, anxious, restless & *PANIC ATTACKS*, which I already get, now wanting to just run to the bathroom and make myself throw up. I am sorry but really freaking out right now...
 
An MD shrink told me not to read the possible side effects,or you will never take meRAB.I have mixed emotions,but I did have one problem over the years,but it was worth the scary effect of that one pill. Hope you can overcome this fear,a little bit,perhaps.Any eye problem,and I go bonkers ,for a time. Good luck. I take deep breaths and exhale thru mouth. Bill
 
I wound up taking it, and the only effect was extreme sleep, fell deep asleep around 7:30 and my husband kept checking on me because I did not move or wake up at all......so I am not sure if I am going to take it again today.
