This is gonna be a little hard to type out but I shall try.
Evaluate each of the following limits if they exist:
lim f(x)={3x+1, x less than or = to 0
x->1 ......... x^2, x>0
(Ignore the dots, I can't type it out properly using spaces and the { is supposed to extend down to the 2nd function as well)
It's a hybrid function and it's got me stumped. I know it's fairly simple but can't get it. I keep getting undefined limits but the book says it's 1.
Could someone show me the steps for solving it? Or if anyone know how to do this on a Casio ClassPad 330. Thanks!
