Need Programming Help - xv6600 to Cricket

Metrallo

Hey guys. I got the XV6600 prgrammed and is on the network and is able to send and recieve calls and TXT messages. But it will not do the OTA programming. I checked the SID and i am using PRL # 1030. 1039 will not work on the phone. It keeps searching for a tower. It will not lock onto a tower to test OTA.

I have searched the forums and have found nothing on the settings i should be using. I would like to get the phone to browse the web even if it is limited and i would like to roam on the new plan i switched to.

I program phones as a hobby and have got a lot of PDA phones on CricKet in Phoenix. I just moved to Alb, NM and the same things i did in AZ don't seem to work here.

Anyway, if anyone can post or send me some screen shots or just info of what the is under the MSL tab in programming on a xv6600 it would make my day.

The Home SID i am using for alb NM is 4923
NID is 65535
MCC 310
NMSI 000000000000 - i changed this last night from 00 and my phone #
True MCC 310
True IMSI NMSI 000000000000 - i changed this last night from 00 and my phone #
Slot Cycle Index 1
Home Sys Registration No - Changed from default Yes
Foreign SID Registration No - Changed from default Yes
Foreign NID Registration No - Changed from default Yes

i am using PRL 1030

1039 does not work correctly

Looking for Cricket PRL 1036

Albquerque Cricket SID is not 4923 is 6249. Are you talking about Audiovox PDA PPC VX6600. You also asking to see if you can use cricket click or browser. Not many of the phone you can do that. Even the Razor which cricket have this hanRABet alot of people try to have web and cricket click still not many people are have it going. Almost every cellphone dealer in Abq know me. I Flash phone almost any phone. By The Way wellcome to Albuquerque. Hope you like it.

you need to flash your phone with the prl 1039 it should work perfectly after flash change the home SID to your home SID it and you should be good to go. There are a few different PRL but the 1039 is the default so try and post back

But the big secret here is to use the corect format for the prl file. :buddies: So if I do this correctly, here is the file...

Just use the storage card to hold the prl file and use ##PRL then browse to it. The prl has to be in EVDO format and works on the 6600 just fine. :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

or look at the last time I uploaded it here:

hey guys i know this threaRAB kinda old but does anybody know the sid and other settings for el paso? i figured out my problems are due to having ordered a phone from cali or somewhere so all these kinda settings u usually take for granted r all wrong neways, thanks in advance :buddies:

I have been reading for quite a few hours. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could point me in the direction of what all of the settings should be on my ppc - 6600. I upated with and now have a cricket signal and can call *611. But cannot *228. I suspect something is in correct in the MSL or similar. If the is a post with all of the setting values I have been unable to find it. I suspect a lot of the values are off from front to rear. Also is the another model that is the same as this ppc-6600 that I should be searching to find these answers. Besides xv6600

Thanks in advance for any help.
