do you know just what caused the dehydration? how do you know for certain he actually is dehydrated? the best way to tell of someone is actually dehydrated is by merely "tenting" the skin? just pinch the top of his hand with a good level of skin in that pinch? just hold it for a second or two then let it go, if it stays in the 'tented' posistion, he is most definitely dehydrated. if you have not already done so,i would take him to the ER, just based upon what you have stated here. he just NEEDS alot of IV fluids quickly and replacement off all the basic chemical/electrolytes too. and other things that can be affected need to be checked with specific types of tests as well. at least he IS peeing, but it doesn't sound like the intake is matching the output there.
what is his "normal' BPs usually like? looking at the pulse pressure here(the difference between the diastolic vs systolic numbers?) they are looking a bit too close which can indicate possible underlying problems,it is also a very hypotensive type of pressure for most. espescially for a man.
but just to be safe here and just making certain kidney and heart functions have not become impaired, or damaged in any way, just get him to the ER asap. then you will know that he is just getting everything possible done for him to make certain he is okay and stays okay. hopefully you have already taken him. i do hope this leads to nothing serious. please let me know how he is doing.
