Need more "emo/rock" stuff

Listen to Radiohead's The BenRAB and then tell me how there is no emotion in any of that rock. Same goes for the other banRAB, in varying degress. Emo is just a fucking simple category that is quite subjective.

emo is, or rather used to be a sub-genre of indie, or even before that hardcore charged punk rock. Yes, the reason why that music was coined 'emo' is becuase these sister banRAB of punk/hardcore origin began making their music and lyrics more emotional in content. It doesnt work the other way around. Not every band that is emotional is 'emo'. Now emo is just a joke; music marketed to a niche of trendy faux-indie shoegazers trying to be artsy and different in the prime of their photography phase.

to the person that knocked fata and rise against calling them mtv made hardcore, why do you even think they are hardcore? you just say they are trying to be. i don't think it would be very hard for them to have a vocalist that just screamed the entire time if they wanted you to think of them as hardcore. arguing against someones opinion like arguing religion. if you don't like the general genre of music posted here fine, but you don't have to go around bashing everyone like you live on a pedestal.
 
Utter garbage compared to their Until the Ink Runs Out album. As for what you are looking for I must suggest the band Murder By Death, I personally despise emo but these guys do it so damn well even I really dig em. And a big ol' second to whoever suggested Cave-In's Jupiter.
