help!!!! i need to know how to figure out these word problems. i do not know where to start. please help me if you can! answer any of these you can figure out. thanks!!!!
1) a standard six sided die is weighted so that the probabilities of rolling a 2,3,4,5, or 6 are equal and the probability of rolling a 1 is twice the probability of rolling 2. if the die is thrown twice, what is the probability that the sum of the numbers thrown will be 4? write answer in fraction form.
2) sue rides her bike to her friend mikes house and returns home by the same route. sue rides her bike at constant speeds of 6 mph on level ground, 4 mph going up hill, and 12 mph going down hill. if her total time was 1 hour, how far is it to mikes house?
3) 3f(x)+f(1-x)= x^2
